The Puppy Who Couldn’t Bark
0+For little ones
A puppy who can’t bark is sent away from home. Can he learn to bark and find his way back?
A sly fox keeps getting into the henhouse in the hunter’s yard and stealing the hens. The little puppy cannot warn his owners with a woof, because he does not know how to bark, so they send him away from the yard.
The puppy makes up his mind to learn to bark and come back, and sets off in search of lessons: Dakang the Rooster, the Owl in the dark forest, the boastful Magpie and the sly Fox, who introduces herself as a “dear guest”, each try to teach him to “bark” in their own voice. The audience can look forward to puppets, funny adventures and songs by the Hunter, the Puppy and the Fox.

Is it right for my child?
- Please note
- The Hunter appears with a gun and shoots at the fox; there is a dark forest scene and the sounds of wild animals.
What it teaches
- not to give up even after failing;
- not to be fooled by sweet words and flattery, and to recognise a trickster pretending to be a “friend”;
- to find the courage to stand up for friends, even when you are small;
- not to laugh at other people’s shortcomings, and to help each other;
- that friendship and sticking together benefit everyone.
