Poisonous Drops
A single street fight brings schoolboy Asror and his friends face to face with a serious crime and a guilty conscience.
Asror wins school olympiads, but he feels that nobody understands him, at home or at school. So he has fallen in with a street crowd around Qamar, who has just come out of prison. His classmate Dilfuza is always by his side: she has come back from a children’s home to look after her disabled father.
One day a fight that starts over a single cigarette outside a beer bar ends in tragedy. Asror goes back to school as if nothing had happened, but his conscience gives him no peace.
Through the sad fate of the teenagers who end up in prison in the novella “Farewell, Childhood”, the play calls on young people to live rightly and to get an education.

What it teaches
- a moment of anger and “the law of the street” can ruin a whole life;
- you cannot put the blame for your mistake on others: each person makes their own choice;
- the “easy way” that promises money and power leads to dependence and humiliation;
- the path of knowledge, hard work and willpower is hard, but it is the only honest one;
- when you are in trouble, ask a trusted adult for help.
